More than forty years into her recording career, Reba McEntire has managed to score another first.
This year, Reba has landed her very first nomination for a GMA Dove Award, Christian music’s equivalent of a Grammy. The Country-Music-Hall-of-Famer is up for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year for “Back to God.”
Written by Randy Houser, the track was the lead release from her gospel double album, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope. You can find out if Reba wins October 22, when the 48th annual show airs on TBN.
